The Values Clarification Program is designed for individuals who could benefit from an educational format to recognize and address anti-social behaviors.

The Values Clarification Program offers: |

|
The VCP differs according to each county or judicial circuit. In the Gwinnett County Judicial Circuit the standards are clear and set by the Gwinnett County Solicitor's Office. You must attend a program that has been approved by the Gwinnett County Courts to be able to receive credit for your attendance.
Participants of the Gwinnett County VCP agree to the following specifically:
„X Attending 8 hours of group classes during the course of 4 weeks
„X Being on time and participating adequately
„X Paying all required fees
„X Completing all assignments
„X Completing the Values Clarification Program where the participant originally enrolled unless approval to change Values Clarification Programs is obtained from the court or other referral source as well as the original program provider
„X Being drug- and alcohol free during all Values Clarification Program classes
„X Authorizing the release of all information and acknowledging that Values Clarification Programs do not limit confidentiality and may release information to persons or organizations such as victims, victim liaisons, referring courts, law enforcement, Department staff and monitors, the Departmentˇ¦s Probation Division
„X Acknowledging the Values Clarification Program's duty-to-warn policy, mandatory reporting requirements, victim contact policies, and programmatic responses to continued unlawful behavior or breaking of the contract.

- The Road to Recovery, is also a provider for the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office Pre-Trial Diversion Program.

Participants in the DeKalb County Pre-Trial Program needs to agree to the following specifically:

Submit to a Mental Health Evaluation to determine any other additional mental health needs

Attending 1 hours of group classes during the course of 12 weeks

Being on time and participating adequately

Paying all required fees
-
Completing all assignments
-
Being drug- and alcohol free during all Values Clarification Program classes

Authorizing the release of all information and acknowledging that Values Clarification Programs do not limit confidentiality and may release information to persons or organizations such as victims, victim liaisons, referring courts, law enforcement, Department staff and monitors, the Departmentˇ¦s Probation Division
