Our Substance Abuse Counseling programs are highly structured and primarily designed for individuals who are able to maintain a minimum level of self-abstinence.
Our programs operate during day and evening hours, weekend appointments are available to accommodate individuals with job and family responsibilities. Our Substance Abuse Programs are based upon a number of treatment models; however our primary modality is focused on the "A New Direction" cognitive behavioral model from the Hazelden Foundation.
Individuals in the program are provided with a clear understanding of the disease of alcoholism and its variety of effects, including the legal consequences. Mandatory attendance to support meetings (Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, etc.) and random Alcohol and Drug Urinalysis are part of the program.
