As part of the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Actof 1996, the federal
government has established a set of rules for
covered entities under HIPAA. These rules cover
privacy and confidentiality of health care
information and security procedures for
confidential health information. While the
government continues to revise HIPAA
requirements, employees must complete HIPAA
training on privacy and confidentiality regulations
by April 13, 2003.
The Road to Recovery, Inc. is
HIPAA compliant.
Accreditations
Funding
The Road to Recovery is a private-for-profit professional counseling agency.  As
such, it does not receive any type of local, state, or federal government grants
or funding from any public or private source. Nonetheless, the Road to Recovery
does not deny services for inability to pay.

Reduced fees and payment plans are provided for individuals who qualify for
these benefits. Financial hardship cases are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Partial scholarships and reduced fees are considered when requested directly
by a sentencing judge for a special case or unusual temporary circumstances.

In some instances, the Road to Recovery refers cases of individuals who are
experiencing long-term financial difficulties to non-profit 501 (c) (3) agencies,
organizations recipients of subsidies, private and public funding to provide short
term and long-term care behavioral health services at no cost or low cost to
indigent individuals and families.

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards, debit cards, and money orders.
The Road to Recovery, Inc. is a behavioral health private practice committed to
improving the understanding and treatment of behavioral health disorders
through education, prevention, treatment and behavior modification services
and programs.

The Road to Recovery is dedicated to being a center of excellence, providing
behavioral health services and programs with professionalism and the highest
level of care internationally and in six convenient locations throughout Metro
Atlanta and North Georgia
in the United States.

Comprehensive behavioral health services and programs along with
outpatient substance abuse treatment services are provided in directly
English and Spanish by licensed and certified, bilingual and bi-cultural
behavioral health professionals with warmth, empathy, care and respect.

The Road to Recovery leads the way in the area of research and development
along with professional development training in cultural competency, ethics
and cultural diversity among a variety of specialized mental health training
areas.

Among its clinical and administrative staff, the Road to Recovery employees an
increasing number of highly qualified professionals from the United States of
America and Latin America. The Road to Recovery clinical team includes a
full-time Clinical Director, Accountability Courts Treatment Coordinator, Clinical
Supervisors and experienced, licensed, and certified independent contractors
who reflect the diversity and richness of the community we serve.
